You know you're a homeschooling parent when. . .

. . . you've just made Pineapple-Beet-Ginger-Lime juice, you want to try a tiny bit of tequila with it to see if it would make a nice apéritif, and you run to the closet to get a (clean) pipet from your science supply box to put a couple of droppersful in your glass.


Along with this tasty concoction, DH and I had the recreation of a spinach-watermelon-blueberry-goat cheese salad we eaten recently at a local restaurant (sans red onions, yuck), with the addition of toasted pecans, as suggested by my friend Lynne.  Healthy and delicious--gotta love that combination.

so I guess you got a juicer now? But what is your issue with red onions? I love red onions!
