Beautiful tree and photo. So sweet the relationship that we can see from just this photo.

Gorgeous tree, Christina! :) Now I am reminded that we should start putting ours up. :)

Quick note to say (just in case you might have been thinking it) this is not OUR tree (nor is my house that gorgeous). There's a museum close by that we visited this past weekend where about two dozen or so trees are decorated in the themes of different children's books. This particular one is the biggest, in the middle of the lobby near the entrance. It's based on a gorgeous rendition of The Snow Queen, illustrated by "Miss Clara." One of my children is getting this book for Christmas! Love HCA fairy tales.

Jazz's favorite as the small but intricate tree based on Alice Through the Looking Glass as illustrated by Helen Oxenbury. He's a huge Lewis Carroll fan, and I've loved Helen Oxenbury ever since We're Going on a Bear Hunt and even before with those big toddler board books she has. We came home with her version of Through the Looking Glass (text unabridged, I'm almost positive), too.

I'll post more pictures at a later date, along with some fairy tale and Lewis Carroll picks that are going to be under our (as yet unbought and undecorated) tree in (ack!) less than 25 days!

Oh, and that's my papa with my youngest. He recently retired and it was a real treat to have a rested and relaxed grandpa here for the holidays!
